Historical Charm with Modern Comforts

I stayed in the annex, it was newer compared to the main building, and faced a quiet area behind the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, and the entire room was super clean. Free parking was available right behind the building.

The double room had new carpet and ok bedding. The bed was comfortable and could be split into twins. The tv in the room was a joke. It was small.

The location is excellent. The castle as well as many pubs and restaurants are in walking distance. I could walk around the entire afternoon and enjoyed the sun and local food. I also enjoyed the history.

The staff was very helpful and tried their best to resolve any issues asap. I arrived early before the room was ready and the staff was kind enough to hold my luggage. They carried it to my room while i explored.

the location was great. the staff was friendly and helpful. the hotel had a lot of charm!!!
the room i got has not been updated in at least two decades. the bathroom had an old commode, after flushing the toilet, the water in the tank would run for two minutes. the sink faucets either drizzled or gushed water, splashing everywhere.

i found the breakfast offered a wide variety of options plus the location was very central. the staff was friendly and accommodating and the parking was indeed convenient. the room was clean and recently updated which i appreciated.
the room i had needed some updates i noticed the bathroom fixtures were quite old. also the water pressure in the shower was low making it a bit difficult.

the double room had adequate space and was generally clean upon arrival the bed was firm. there was a television with cable channels available but i did not use it. the window overlooked a quiet side street minimizing noise.

the receptionist was helpful providing directions and information about local attractions the check-in process was quick and efficient. i observed staff readily assisting other guests with luggage and inquiries the front desk was staffed 24/7.

parking was available on site though spaces were somewhat limited the hotel offered complimentary wifi throughout the building. i saw a small business center available for guest use with computers and printing services. there was a bar.

the breakfast buffet included cereals pastries and cooked options like eggs and bacon. i noticed fresh fruit and yogurt were also available each morning the dining area was clean and well-kept. coffee and tea were self-service.

the hotel is close to the town center with easy access to shops restaurants and historical sites i could easily walk to most places. public transportation was available nearby. the hotel's proximity made exploring very convenient.

The staff was very friendly and suggested a great place to eat near the accommodation.
The room I got was terrible. It was very small and a draught came in from the window. The hallway noise was loud. The sink was in the room, not the bathroom. The shower was old, grotty and tiny (a larger person would not have been able to get in the bathroom door). There was way too much furniture in the room for the size of it. Some lightbulbs were missing.
